Description: An army from this Supplement Army Book uses a Sin Token pool in order to track the Battlefield’s Descent into Sin. At the start of the game, this pool does not contain any Sin Tokens. During the game, specific events will add Sin Tokens to the pool.
Consult the Descent into Sin Table below to determine the effects of the current number of Sin Tokens in the pool. These effects come into play when both of the following conditions are met:
• The corresponding threshold has been reached.
• It is the Legion of Sin Player Turn.
In battles between two armies from this Supplement Army Book, track each pool separately.
Effects from different thresholds and pools stack and, unless specifically stated otherwise, affect both armies.
Add one Sin Token to your pool immediately when one of the following conditions is met:
• The opponent chooses to apply Wages of Sin.
• At the start of any Melee Phase, one or more friendly models with Greater Dominion are in base contact with an enemy unit.
In addition, each Legion of Sin has a unique condition for adding Sin Tokens to their Sin Token pool:
• Envy:
Add 1 Sin Token at the end of a phase in which one or more models with Dominion of Envy cause one or more Health Point losses against an Object of Envy; if one or more units containing Objects of Envy are removed as casualties, add 1 additional Sin Token.
• Gluttony: Add 2 Sin Tokens at the end of any Melee Phase in which one or more units have been removed as casualties.
• Greed: Add 1 Sin Token at the end of Siphon the Veil if the Active Player saved 3-5 Veil Tokens;
if 6 Veil Tokens were saved, add 2 Sin Tokens instead.
• Lust: Add 1 Sin Token at the start of any Melee Phase for each unit that is Engaged with the Flank Facing of an enemy unit,
and 2 Sin Tokens for each unit that is Engaged with the Rear Facing of an enemy unit.
• Pride: Add 1 Sin Token at the start of the Melee Phase for each combat in which one or more friendly single model units are Engaged with at least one enemy unit with more Full Ranks than themselves, up to a maximum of 2.
• Sloth: Add 1 Sin Token at the end of any Magic Phase in which at least two non-Attribute Spells were successfully cast; in case of three or more, add 2 Sin Tokens instead.
• Wrath: Add 1 Sin Token at the end of any Charge Phase in which two units declared a Charge;
if three or more units declared a Charge, add 2 Sin Tokens instead.
